Universal Pictures has made it official, the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series will get a theatrical release in June of 2015. The film is being titled Jurassic World and will be directed by Colin Trevorrow.
Trevorrow’s only previous feature experience was directing the 2012 indie-comedy Safety Not Guaranteed.
The studio has been working on putting together the film for almost a decade, with rumors and activity coming in spurts along the way. But now that an official release date is on the books, we feel reasonably confident is saying that THIS IS HAPPENING!
Will the new film recapture some of the magic of Jurassic Park or echo the less-magical sequels that followed.
